It's a fact: Marvel and Sony are already working on Spider-Man 4
Spider-Man: No Way
Home is still causing a stir, and both Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are
already working on a new future for the spider superhero.
What We Know So Far
While it's
ridiculously early for this information, and everything should be taken with a
grain of salt (this is not an official announcement), we do have some
interesting bits of information to share.
Kevin Feige, head
of Marvel Studios, and Amy Pascal, producer of the franchise, have confirmed
that they are working on the new story of one of the favorite superheroes of
all time: Spider-Man.
According to New York Times,
Disney and Sony are working together to develop where the new adventures of
Spider-Man will go, trying to avoid any rift like the one that happened in the
past when Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures broke relations, thus temporarily
removing Tom Holland from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Although the
details are still under wraps, we can expect an agreement between the two
companies that will bring us new adventures of Peter Parker on the big screen.
No More Rumors
Tom Holland will
star in the new Spider-Man trilogy; it is a fact, as recently stated by Amy Pascal.
However, after these statements, Marvel came out and mentioned that although
relations between the two companies (Marvel and Sony) are once again excellent, there were still no concrete
plans for new films, including the long-awaited Spider-Man 4.
However, regardless
of this event, it is a fact from all the information that has been leaked that
both companies will join forces again to bring a new Spider-Man adventure to
the big screen.
As a spoiler, if
you have already seen Spider-Man: No Way Home, it is quite obvious that the
door is open for a new adventure with Tom Holland at the end of the movie.
Undoubtedly, the actor has won the hearts of fans of the Spider-Man superhero,
and there is no doubt that there will be Tom Holland for a lot more fun.
What Will Happen Next?
We will have to
wait for the official announcements but, undoubtedly, this is very good news!
In addition, there is no doubt that Peter Parker will fit perfectly in the MCU,
giving him more opportunities to interact with the heroes of this franchise.
