A collector of NFT non-fungible tokens bought a monkey avatar from the Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) collection for $1,710 and less than half an hour later resold it for more than $200,000 thus generating a profit of more than 10 thousand percent.

According to NFT OpenSea marketplace records, today January 24, 2022, a collector identified as 'Tballer' bought avatar #9991 from BAYC's collection for 0.77 ethereums (about $1,710), only to sell it after about 20 minutes for 84.2 ETH (almost $203,000).

The most interesting thing about this transaction is that in social networks, some Internet users point out that days ago the price of this avatar was 250 ETH (more than 550,000 dollars), which would have represented to its owner, if he had sold it at that price, profits of more than 29 thousand percent, something rarely seen, since, in traditional business models, it is almost impossible for a small investment to generate such an amount of profits.

The Bored Ape Yacht Club is one of the most prestigious NFT collections in the world and has 10,000 ape avatars created on the Ethereum blockchain, each of which has unique traits.
